Florida 2012: Gulf World & Miniature Golf

While Ellen & I would've hung out at the beach all day, it's not Daddy's thing & the beach with an infant isn't all it's cracked up to be.  So, we planned a day with some activities.  First up---Gulf World in Panama City.
It wasn't the fanciest of places but Ellen had fun checking out all the animals.
Mary Elizabeth got in on the animal action--even if it was just her Sophie!

 Touching a sting ray
 Hanging with our main man

Watching the dolphins in the practice area
 And at the dolphin show!
After the dolphin show, Ellen went back to have her picture taken touching the dolphin.  We were all very excited until we found out she was just a couple of inches too short and they wouldn't let her touch.  Bummer!
So, later after the sea lion show, we made up for it.
Ellen had her picture taken with the sea lion and chose to kiss him!!!
Next up on our day of fun:  miniature golf!  This was her first real experience playing.  We had fun although trying to put while holding an infant--not so much fun!
Someone got a hole in one!!!
An attempt at a photo--one out of 15, not so bad :)
All in all a pretty good day...next up, more beach time!!!
