The cicadas are coming, the cicadas are coming!

Well, they arrived!  Everyone's been talking about them for awhile & they finally descended upon Nashville in all their loud, crunchy glory.  Walking outside can be like an obstacle course, ducking & swerving to avoid an attack,  Ellen & Daddy decided to make the most of it & check out our front yard, also known as Cicadaville.

Egg Hunt 2011

Yes, you read that right--2011!!!!!  Let's just say that life's been busy this past year (as you will see if I ever get this blog caught up!).  So, without further ado, here's a little peek at Ellen's first egg hunt.

Grandma Nancy invited us to the Dollar General family Egg Hunt.  First stop:  creepy guy in furry white costume, aka The Easter Bunny.

Ellen handled it much better than her visit with this guy. 

Next stop:  taking some portraits on the grounds of Dollar General.  Ellen enjoyed posing in her new Easter dress and big white bow.
