We all know how important reading is for young children. I can only hope that Ellen will grow up to love reading as much as the rest of her family. In order to get her started on that path, I signed her up for "Books from Birth" earlier this week. This is a wonderful program that we have here in Tennessee. It was started by Dolly Parton as the "Imagination Library" in her hometown & has been expanded through affiliate programs throughout the state. When you sign your child up, she will receive a new book in the mail--FREE-- every month until she is 5 years old. How cool is that! We can't wait for our first book to arrive!
