Before we left NY, we were lucky enough to get to see Aisling & Rachel dance in an Irish dancing competition! I'm not going to lie...the experience was a bit like a scene out of the Irish version of "Toddlers & Tiaras" or "Dance Moms," but it was really exciting to see the girls compete & have fun.
They both did great and both placed in their division--we were so proud! Aside from some of the crazy parents and the crazy expensive costumes, it was pretty cool to watch and nice to share some of our family heritage with Ellen (even if she's a bit too little to get much of it yet!).
Maybe we'll have her signed up for Irish dancing in Nashville before you know it!
