Invite photo shoot

May flew by & before I knew it, Ellen's first birthday was on the horizon. While the plan was just to have a small celebration of Ellen's first year, I knew I wanted the invitations to be perfect. We finally managed to find time & some good weather to get some photos taken. As you can see, though, with a toddler on your hands, the perfect invitation photo was about as easy to find as a needle in a haystack. Here are some outtakes from the shoot:

Luckily, Daddy was on-hand this day and was able to distract the peanut for just long enough to keep her sitting still so we could snap a winner. Drum roll please....
