The Zoo Revisted

We decided to hit the zoo on Labor Day (along with much of the rest of Nashville) and had a great time! As we were walking by the carousel, Ellen was pointing and very excited. So, we got on & she quickly chose the bunny.
Still happy...
But, the second the carousel started, she literally jumped off that bunny into my arms!
This was kind of the opposite of last time where she wasn't so sure at first but then did fine. Oh well!
Checking out the animals in the petting zoo area
And, since it was so hot out, we had to finally have our first taste of ice cream...
I think we have a fan!

We'll always have Paris...

A few weeks ago, we joined Grandma Nancy on a little trip to check out a new corner of our lovely state. We made the trek to the Paris Arts Festival. While it might not have been completely worth the 2 hour trip, it was a very quaint, adorable town and a nice way to spend a beautiful September day with family. I'm not sure why, but I only took the camera out for a couple of photos! Here's one of the Paris Eiffel Tower: And one of the munchkin sporting her new hat that Daddy got her at the Bass Pro shop (since she's outgrown last year's :(

Thanks to Grandma for a fun outing!
